About Us
Citizens Commission on Human Rights Ireland is an Irish organisation composed of Irish people who are concerned about psychiatric abuses in Ireland.
Our role is to investigate and expose psychiatric abuses in Ireland and to show the way forward towards a health system that truly helps and supports real mental health.
We work shoulder to shoulder with like-minded groups and individuals who share a common purpose to clean up the field of mental health and shall continue to do so until psychiatry's abusive and coercive practices cease and human rights and dignity are returned to the Irish people.
Here in Ireland we have distributed tens of thousands of DVDs to politicians, mental health professionals, key public figures and the many organisations that share the goal of a future without psychiatric abuses. We have also hosted Ireland’s largest-ever mental health exhibition at the RDS in Dublin. We also provide information and real help for those who have been harmed by psychiatry.
If you know someone who has been harmed by psychiatry please make them aware of the information on this website.
We are always happy to hear from anyone, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can be of any assistance to you.

None of it constitutes medical advice. In order to safely come off psychiatric drugs, we have provided relevant websites in on our Links page. However we provide this information on a buyer-beware basis and you must use your own judgement. No one should stop taking any psychiatric drug without the advice and assistance of a competent, non-psychiatric medical doctor.
